Dine out to “Give Back”
Many of our local restaurants are joining us in our fight to end child sexual abuse. Periodically, they donate a portion of their proceeds on specific days to our cause. Watch for the next “Give Back” event at an area restaurant. Enjoy a delicious meal with friends or family, topped off with the equally delicious knowledge that you are helping victims on their journey to healing.
Volunteer at the Maytag Ironman 70.3 Steelhead Triathlon
This triathlon attracts hundreds of families to Southwest Michigan every year because there is so much for everyone to do while the race unfolds. Beginning on the beach, athletes swim 1.2 miles in the waters of pure Lake Michigan, then bike a course that winds through rolling hills dotted with wineries and orchards. The run course is shaded and always lined with volunteers. The race concludes on the beach, where families and friends can find plenty to entertain them until athletes finish the race.
We hope you join us in 2019!
Join us in supporting the athletes. The Children’s Advocacy Center of Southwest Michigan staffs a bike aid station and we need your help. You’ll enjoy a beautiful day outdoors and the excitement of an up-close view of one of the most grueling kinds of races. You may register to volunteer conveniently by clicking here.
